Description
This is the debut full length album from this promising San Francisco based folkgrass quintet. This album blends aspects of a variety of different types of music including folk and urban bluegrass to create a unique sound anyone can enjoy.
Notes
This is the debut full length album from the English assignment-born, biology class-raised, folkgrass quintet formed at the Ruth Asawa San Francisco School of the Arts. Our first time playing together was for an English assignment and we played as often as we could. After realizing how much we enjoyed playing together, we decided to make it official.
These songs were written over the course of three years and across a country. It feels like we have been working on these songs for an eternity and we are so excited to finally share them with the world. Since the release of our self titled EP, we have grown so much as individuals and as a band and we strongly believe it shows in the content of this album. This album was recorded in Jake Stueckle's basement and at Universities all across the country from New Jersey to Arizona.
"Sounds good. Good vocals, interesting songs, and well-engineered mixes. Really a pleasure to work on this one!" - Myles Boisen, Headless Buddha Mastering Lab
"I did not have sexual relations with that woman." - Bill Clinton
"Who's [Montgomgery Station]?" - Marcus Mumford
