Description
Dreamy garage rock with a hint of blues & plenty of groove.
Notes
VEINS is Hannah Bussiere’s dreamy garage rock solo project based in Toronto. Her 12-track debut album, Moon Garden was recently released in May, and has been called “a great piece of art… plenty of groove and emotion” by the Deli Magazine. VEINS becomes a 5-piece band when playing live, band members including Jacob Switzer and Fox Martindale of Goodbye Honolulu. They play frequently at local venues around downtown Toronto.
VEINS started playing together in January of 2015 as a 3-piece band, after Hannah returned from Montreal, where she had attended one semester at McGill for their classical music program. Since her return, VEINS has played over 30 gigs and expanded the live group along the way. This “garage rock princess” (Happy Forever Publishing) is excited to add a strong female presence to the Toronto music scene and is hoping to tour within the next couple of years, after Hannah finishes the Independent Music Production program at Seneca College, which she is currently attending.
Get out to a VEINS gig for a “dreamy romp through some beautiful melodies and heartbreaking lyrics”, as said by the Deli Magazine, and be sure to pick up a colourful handmade VEINS bracelet along the way.
