In 2003: Manabu Sugar formed The Boicotts. In 2010 The Boicotts supported Pete Doherty and The Ettes and completed a music video with Robert Ford, the director of “Sexy Pig” which was shown on the BBC.

In 2003: Manabu Sugar formed The Boicotts. He went to London in 2006 to pursue his own music having always set his sights on the worldwide scene.
The first gig was in 2008 and by that time his sense of songwriting had evolved to incorporate English and the emotion that came from his London life.
After a few month he was spotted by Black Daniel who supported Kasabian and Bryan Adams, and was signed to their indie label “Dustbowl Recordings”.
In 2010 The Boicotts supported Pete Doherty and The Ettes and completed a music video with Robert Ford, the director of “Sexy Pig” which was shown
on the BBC around Europe. He went back to Japan end of 2010, where he launched Crayfish Records in Tokyo.
