This debut album is an eclectic mix of jazz, indie-rock, soul and electronics.
Notes
Last summer I locked myself away in my living room surrounded by my dearest instruments, a load of borrowed gear and most importantly, a line-up of my very favourite players in the whole world. Not to mention the sheer amount of coffee, wine and fine food which fuelled both us, and the altogether amazing vibe.
Musicians that speak to all different parts of my musical persona, young and old, were there to jam, record and hang. From the moment we woke, we breathed and sweated the album you have in your hands right now. Though a lengthy process followed on from then; that week IS this album.
As much as I can, I hope to pull you out of the daily drag that life sometimes can be, to plug you into a little slice of introspection and happiness, and return you revived, ready to take on the world again.
