Description
A mix of smooth and jazzy tunes, relaxing and atmospheric sounds, but also tight and deep beats. The airy feel of the 14 tracks has a relaxing effect on the stressed soul while the body is immersed headfirst into aesthetic mid tempo grooves.
Notes
Al Rea is more than just a musician and producer. He is an artist who creates exceptional worlds of sounds in which Rea’s hopes and dreams are reflected musically. Since his childhood, music is one of his greatest passions. At the age of 6 years, Al Rea, whose real name Lutz Aulich is, made his first steps into the world of music. First he learned to play the trumpet and later guitar and piano.
Musically inspired by electro classics like Tangerine Dream and Jean-Michel Jarre and sound visionaries such as Christopher Deylen (Schiller), as well as DJs and producers such as Armin van Buuren or Andre Tannenberg (ATB), Al Rea always dare to try something new and is always looking for new ideas. For other musical genres Al Rea has always an open ear. So it is not a surprise that Rea compress influences from the fields of Smooth Jazz, Chill Out and Lounge, but also electro, house and trance to his own sound universe.
Actually, the main focus of Al Rea is on creating high-quality production music for TV, films and image- and promotional videos. Over the years his work has been used in a number of major projects all over the world - so you can find Rea’s music in commercials and corporate films from renowned companies such as Adidas, Red Bull and Renault.
But Al Rea's music is also meant for pure audio enjoyment. The music of his debut album "Visions of Love" found the way into the Planetarium Hamburg, where the guests may take a journey through the cosmos accompanied by relaxing music, controlled by their own dreams and fantasies.
The latest album "Farbtöne" ties up on Rea’s debut album. Again, it's a mix of smooth and jazzy tunes, relaxing and atmospheric sounds, but also tight and deep beats. But the music has evolved. The airy feel of the 14 tracks has a relaxing effect on the stressed soul while the body is immersed headfirst into aesthetic mid tempo grooves. What starts out with a purely instrumental and almost soft Chillout, is getting more and more electronically and intensive. Just as a painter composes his colors to a painting, Rea varies the tones of his music to a harmonious synthesizer performance.
